Parvana's family embraced Shauzia as if she was an old, even though they had not met her before because she was in Parvana's class before the Taliban came and also they were both acting like a boy, to earn money and feed their family.

She felt happy because she knew that she's not the only one acting like a boy to earn money and feed her family. I would feel happy because I know that there's people that do he same thing like me. I had situation like Parvana. When I came here I thought I was going to be the only person in this school that's from The Philippines, but my teacher told me that there was students that are from the same country as mine, so I felt happy and didn't feel alone.

Parvana feel uncomfortable about digging bones because it's really scary and it's really disgusting, and also there might be some land mines that planted there and might explode. I would dig up bones for money, so I can get my family's needs and get safer home for me and my family, but if it's for fun and it's wrth nothing digging up bones, I wouldn't because it's scary and there might be decease on those bones and the decease might go on my skin.
